  I loved this. The whole idea of a vampire trying to get a copy of his birth certificate and running up again a typical, lack-lustre clerk was great. The actress playing the couldn't-give-a-damn government employee was PERFECT!!!! You folks did a great job with make up and special effects, loved it. Overall, I thought the film was well done and entertaining... I loved this.   Vampire Birth Certificate is a very funny, well acted and well written comedy that doesn't outstay its welcome. This kind of film could become very boring very quickly but the film is paced just right and the performances are very good. The twist at the end is unexpected and made me laugh out loud.   Clearly the filmmakers have had a great time making this film, and it reflects on the finished product. The special effects deserve a mention too, as they were excellent.

  Although Understated, This Is Hysterical

  Sometimes we are blessed with seeing a video/film, that is truly entertaining. The acting could not of been better,...a frustrated vampire (Ian Ian Pfister) just trying to get some help from a custober service representative (Tarvenia Jones). Like any city,state,or federal peone,....al you will usually get is attitude.This was fun, even down to the elevator music in the background,....in... Sometimes we are blessed with seeing a video/film, that is truly entertaining. The acting could not of been better,...a frustrated vampire (Ian Ian Pfister) just trying to get some help from a custober service representative (Tarvenia Jones). Like any city,state,or federal peone,....al you will usually get is attitude.This was fun, even down to the elevator music in the background,....in any government office. Edits are good, concise,....and the camera work even better,....thank goodness, the director was right on poiunt,.....with the actors,camera work,....and editing,...look forward to your future films,....this was hyterical,...especially from the vamp's point of view. read

  Vampire Birth Certificate is great fun! Very funny, the actor's in it deliver solid performances, the premise of this short alone is great, as it's actually an original idea as opposed to so many played out ones seen in recent years. The short looks great visually, and the direction of Horn was on point as well. Kudos to the director and all involved. Look forward to seeing... Vampire Birth Certificate is great fun!   The short looks great visually, and the direction of Horn was on point as well.

  Vampire Birth Certificate is a great little short. Where it lacks in dramatic action, it certainly makes up for it in sharp dialog and, most of all, strong concept and strong performances. The quality of this short's photography is also high, though one would expect that to be easy enough as there was only one lighting direction - but it still comes off looking great and...   The quality of this short's photography is also high, though one would expect that to be easy enough as there was only one lighting direction - but it still comes off looking great and the presentation is all production value.
  
  I think that dramatically, the stakes could have been raised considerably; although grounding the film's concept in the every day worries of mortal concerns lends to its charming conceit, a bang of a reversal could have been found to give this well made short a push into a higher category. As it is, the end is a bit of a let down.
  
  In terms of its filmic language, I would have enjoyed a less claustrophobic approach - we stay the enter time on singles and reverses and one two shot profile - what about an overhead to expression the psychology of 'being in' a line. Or a wide master or wide lens choices to express stylized approach that would match the horror genre. Without these elements of the horror genre's language in film, the begins to look like a wardrobe fitting rather than a story.
  
  The casting in Vampire Birth Certificate works and works well. Both actors are great.
  
  The one disconcerting, stand out issue for me is - why so fast? this film rockets by... I wanted to slow the pace just a bit (pregnant pause here or there couldn't have hurt), feel and jump in on the joke, and get to know these weird characters
  
  Overall, very well done.

  With all the fuss and popularity over Vampires lately it's nice to see a funny film on the subject, even a short one. I am not a Vampire fan (or at least a fan of the way they're used everywhere these days), but this little bit of comedy is a delight! BTW - I have met, and dealt, with Wanda before!

  Overall, I found this film to be an excellent short film. The piece has comedy as well as some interesting insights into the struggles of each character. The interactions are humorous and genuine, really grabbing the attention of the viewer. All in all, this short film is definitely a great piece!
