  I liked this flick, it had a loose attitude and a cool style. The animation was simple but smart and the images were interesting and well made. I also liked the music and the voiceovers. I don’t quite get what the story was about or what the purpose of this film was supposed to be, but somehow I liked it anyway.

  While the movie was visually nice I found it hard to really pay attention to it. The storyline was rather predictable and I would have liked to see more that just the skeleton appearing out of the bed. The movie is rated a comedy and I didn't find it very funny at all. Maybe having the character walk by a cememtary and actually waking the dead and being eaten by some zombies... While the movie was visually nice I found it hard to really pay attention to it.   The animation was nostalgic in that it reminded me of an old colleco game. This is a good thing.I felt that the introduction is a bit 2 long and the film would have been better if there was some sort of relationship between the boy and the skeleton...maybe the skeleton kills the boy and he walks down the street with the boombox? I just felt there needed to be a bit more conflict... The animation was nostalgic in that it reminded me of an old colleco game.   I always admire the effort it takes to create an animated film. So I will begin by tipping my hat. However as a short film WTD misses the mark. I like CGA but find most shorts are still in the early stages of mastery. WTD is such a film. You have some details in the backgrounds in some scenes but are missing obvious details in the next. Inside the house with the parents sitting... I always admire the effort it takes to create an animated film. So I will begin by tipping my hat. However as a short film WTD misses the mark. I like CGA but find most shorts are still in the early stages of mastery. WTD is such a film. You have some details in the backgrounds in some scenes but are missing obvious details in the next. Inside the house with the parents sitting on the sofa is the most notable example. There needed to be better editing and shots. Sound could be improved. WTD has the feel like you somewhat had an idea, started drawing and playing with software, and then came up with your story. But there is no real story. If youre using the compression software to test or to try out something for a few filmmaking friends to see, okay. To submit a film for public showing just should not be done. The evaluation notice was too distracting and took away from the film. read

  The idea was interesting and funny. The negative aspects are mostly technical issues. The speech was scratchy and difficult to hear alot of the time. Also, the fellows room was a little "ugly". Other than that, I respect the time that was obviously put into the modeling and animations. Good job.

  sure the kid studied but did he pass . . . I mean thats what is really at stake here . . . wow. . . this was like an acid trip without the acid, and staying put. I give you props, Im not sure if this was easy or hard to do, but I will assume that it was hard. and man, wat that the soundtrack from Miami Vice? Mike Mann is gonna be pissed! Goth 4 Ever!!!

  I don't have the faintest idea how hard it is to do this kind of animation, but the people walking looked like they were walking thru invisible knee-deep snow or something. It was probably a good exercise. Gotta love the skeleton though. He had class. He was suave. Sophisticated. And his mannerisms reflected his class. Nice job in producing something short and not too...   Hi Brad - I wouldn't worry too much about the watermark left by the sorenson encoder. I'm more worried about the story content itself. I'm interested in the skeleton rising out of the bed at the end, and then listens to the music. Whats that all about? What program was this animated in? If you're in animation school, thats good.   Sorenson should pay you for promoting their software! Or at least, give you a free copy. An interesting idea not fully realized. The beginning was a little long, could be made better with some cuts to the porches and insides of homes with items rattling like it's an earthquake, IMHO. The skeleton rising up was a nice touch.

  And there was a certain bounce the animation, a certain interesting dreaminess.... But overall it just didn't amount to anything. It was a one joke concept, and while you did handle the joke well... I dug the silence and the pause you rocked out... It just didn't add up to anything at all for me. And was it just my player, or was that SorensonMedia logo on the thing the entire... And there was a certain bounce the animation, a certain interesting dreaminess.... And was it just my player, or was that SorensonMedia logo on the thing the entire time (that was a distraction, and really took me out of the vibe, which I'm not sure this would've established anyway, that this was a valid piece for display). Anyhow... Keep at the animation, it's a great art to get in to. I liked the waving goodbye. But you know... Get a writer, and keep rockin out the animation. read
