  This is the most outrageous story I've read on Trigger Street and also one of the most amusing...I'm still smiling, this was really hammy and far fetched but done with such a fast and furious style that I had to admire your cheek. You have a unique writing style almost Raiders of the Lost Ark meets the Marks Brothers.... You didn't leave one bad joke out of this, so it worked... This is the most outrageous story I've read on Trigger Street and also one of the most amusing...I'm still smiling, this was really hammy and far fetched but done with such a fast and furious style that I had to admire your cheek. Give this writing for Trigger Street up and go and write spoofs for the Ad Industry...They'll love you!!! Just one thing jarred...you don't spell straight jacket like that???? Great read..   An amusing tale of gangsters and lovers in South America. It’s not too deep but an entertaining read nonetheless. I quickly got into the adventure and enjoyed every minute of it. It is amusing at times with a few, but not too many, clichés thrown in, such as writing “yes” as “jes”. The best sentences, where I laughed out loud were “She smelled opportunity in the air. Unfortunately... An amusing tale of gangsters and lovers in South America. It’s not too deep but an entertaining read nonetheless. I quickly got into the adventure and enjoyed every minute of it.   Concept: The exploits of former CIA spook turned free lancer Jackie Fabulous in South America. I liked this story. Not a lot to criticize here. It was written in an over the top, fast paced, in your face style. The ending was left open to that there could easily be a part 2, 3, etc series of stories The author used was good description in the action scenes My only suggestion... Concept:

  I liked this story. Not a lot to criticize here.
  
  It was written in an over the top, fast paced, in your face style.
  The ending was left open to that there could easily be a part 2, 3, etc series of stories
  The author used was good description in the action scenes
  
  My only suggestion would be further elaboration on Jackie.
  Flesh out her background more, how old is she, where she is from originally, what is it in her background that makes her such a ‘machine’.

  Love the spirit of this. Jackie Fabulous is as fabulous as her name. The characters are colorful and the action is fun. Great fight scene in the plane. Overall the tone and pacing are good. I think the story would benefit from a careful clean up. There are a lot of sloppy sentences and typos that detract from what is a nicely plotted and clever/fun ride. While you...   While you want to maintain the colorful larger-than-life vibe I think you still need to ground the characters in some reality and give them more relatable motivations. Vidopio needs to have some charm and/or Jackie needs better reasons for sleeping with him. Keep him crazy and her loose but still make us root for that coupling.
  
  Fun! I hope there are more Jackie Fabulous episodes.

  This story is colorful take on the pulp genre. From the opening scene moments of the story its clear that we are being immersed in a world of danger and intrigue. Atmosphere is a key element of this story, something that the author seems to capture in every scene. Structurally at some points the story can be a little confusing. I would work to give some clarity to each scene,... This story is colorful take on the pulp genre. I would work to give some clarity to each scene, when its occurring and how it relates to the start of the story. The characters in the story are larger then life and as they should be with a pulp story. However, even for pulp Jackie seemed a little over the top. At one moment she seems completely immobilize and in the next she is bounding across the plan. The scene in the airplane had great action but it seems as if it was magic she popped out of her seat and the straight jacket. Also despite the pulpy feel of the story sometimes it did deviate from it and take on modern references. This detracted from the feel when they were present. Overall I enjoyed it and I hope to hear more from Jackie. read

  The beginning and end of this story come together seamlessly. You did an excellent job of keeping the action flowing and never missed a beat. The feel of the story is reminiscent of Tarantino, but it could be a touch more humorous. You were nicely subtle and sometimes in your face with the humor and outrageous situations, but I could have used more. Your writing style...   When it came to describing Jackie herself and what brought her into her current situation, it wasn’t as clear as the rest of the story. I’ve seen a few “Jackie Fabulous” stories on the board so I’m sure this is a place that is monotonous to you, but for the first time reader it’s a good idea to be crystal on this point since the entire story hinges on who Jackie is.
  
  Overall this was an action packed story that I enjoyed reading very much. There’s a few copy editing points that need to be addressed, but it doesn’t break the bank for me. read

  will be interesting to know what inspired the author and if the characters are pure fiction or maybe they are real people. Why?...... because my last name is Vidopio, I am from Venezuela. Is not really a big deal but I will love to know more about it. And I will love to see if that story can continue with more interesting situations.   The story is about a ex-CIA girl hero who goes merc in South America doing security work. The plot is to get the bad guy to steal a rare artifact and steal it from him. The story has the rare scorpions who have a lifetime effective bite, the statue and all that stuff. . . What was the hook to draw us in? The peril to the female hero. the story had a plot and the storyline... The story is about a ex-CIA girl hero who goes merc in South America doing security work.   What was the hook to draw us in? The peril to the female hero. the story had a plot and the storyline led us down a curved path. The elements were revealed as they became important to the story. The writing was semirich and the ending was never in doubt.
  
  Spelling, grammar, syntax and punctuation, were carefully done. Sentence and paragraph structure were OK. Punctuation in general was good.
  
  Was it a comfortable read? Yes
  The story had lots of action and the pace kept it moving. The reading level was low and the writing style led to an easy story to read.
  
  Did I like it? No.
  The story was deliberately a penny novel and as such was very successful. However, the characters were familure from Indiana Jones and 007. Change the hero to female and make the peril in the airplane Scorpions and you have this story. Dated and stale, not to my taste. Is it a dredful story(penny dredful)? Not at all. There are many readers who would be in love with this story. I recommend it to all and let the chips fall where they may. read

  The start interested me except for some of the errors of tenses. I too have had a problem with this. I correct this by proofreading a few extra times. You turned a 5 page story into so much more with great decriptions of fight scenes (Which is not easily done) I think the ending is good and fitting.   Jackie Fabulous-gotta dig the name!-and a creep named Vidopio have had a disagreement, see? And this Vidopio dude's got Jackie--a two fisted, hot-tempered-gorgeous female bodyguard--all tied up in an airplane. Oh, yes, let us not forget the rather exotic scorpions. A box of them, at her feet. An open box of them. Vidopio does not like J. Fabulous, but he wants to bed her... Jackie Fabulous-gotta dig the name!-and a creep named Vidopio have had a disagreement, see? And this Vidopio dude's got Jackie--a two fisted, hot-tempered-gorgeous female bodyguard--all tied up in an airplane. Oh, yes, let us not forget the rather exotic scorpions. A box of them, at her feet. An open box of them.
  
  Vidopio does not like J. Fabulous, but he wants to bed her for the rest of her life. She wants a fabulous statue of a golden panther, which Vidopio has stolen. Please don't ask for a sensible explanation of the motives of anyone in this story. You won't get one from me, because I can't give one beyond pulling out the words 'greed', 'wounded pride', 'sex drive', and so on and putting them in front of you.
  
  A fight ensues-Jackie IS fabulous-and her world immediately moves into 'INTERESTING' mode in a manner that promises a tough future for a heroine used to making a living by killing people. Please read this tale if you want a simply told story of greed and wounded machismo, spiced up with great descriptive prose, tidbits of Spanish-I think it was Spanish-and an ending that promises more to come.
  
  Dragon carps-Some forgotten commas in the dialogue early on, but most all the writing is clear, clean, and utterly lucid. I cannot vouch at all for the correctness of the Spanish...obviously, Dragons only speak Anglais, but I assume this writer knows his stuff--I think it's a him! Sorry if I'm wrong!

  Assuming one is not setting one's sights on deep characterization, I'd grab for this story in anticipation of a very entertaining read! *o_O*!! Very good! read
