  Well, I've read it twice. The writer is very accomplished in word usage, catchy phrases, and metaphors. I guess I'll be embarrased to read I mis- interpeted this piece, but as I see it, Carter's problems stem from playing with sparking toys following lasik surgery. He is either hallucinating or has been cross circuited into some very heavy stuff and may well now have X-Ray... Well, I've read it twice.   I guess I'll be embarrased to read I mis- interpeted this piece, but as I see it, Carter's problems stem from playing with sparking toys following lasik surgery. If I see that right, this is a very innovative, well constructed yarn which reads easily from start to finish.
  
  If not, then drat, I've failed again.
  
  I'm not certain as to the value of the seal stamped in the lower right corner of each page which inhibits reading.
  
  Found this a good read, assuming I had enough sense to follow it correctly. read

  In one word: Confusing

  This short story was extremely confusing and hard to follow. I think I get what the writer was trying to convey, but for me personally, it did not translate well on the page. It was well written with no typos that I could point out. But the narrative was discombobulated, to say the least. The only thing I liked about "Glimpse" was the pacing. It was chaotic and frantic...   The only thing I liked about "Glimpse" was the pacing. It was chaotic and frantic. I believe it was intended to be this way as it takes place in some sort of combat scenario.
  
  This is all a matter of opinion, of course. What I do hope the writer does is remove the watermark from all the pages. I found it very distracting and annoying to the eye.

  Too brief a Glimpse

  This fragment of a story is about a soldier running through a jungle. He is chased by other soldiers for reasons unknown. I found some of the language incomprehensible such as :- The sweat, past waiting Dali Llama and docile at the hairline I found the whole piece confusing, you don't know who he is, why he is running, where he is, when he is etc. I found it hard to maintain... This fragment of a story is about a soldier running through a jungle. He is chased by other soldiers for reasons unknown.
  
  I found some of the language incomprehensible such as :-

  I found the whole piece confusing, you don't know who he is, why he is running, where he is, when he is etc. I found it hard to maintain interest about half way through and the PDF has a watermark at the bottom which obscured some of the text.
  
  Some background would be useful. This is not a complete story but a fragment.
  
  I suggest adding some lines about the soldier, what he is being chased for, what sort of man he is so the reader can care about him. read
