I'm an actor, writer, producer, director (and occasional editor) who's background is steeped in horror and comedy. I've performed and written in several sketch comedy groups as well as directing numerous film segments. My currently touring short, Horror Movies Suck, just started touring in Oct. 2011 and has already won several awards from several different festivals including "Best Horror/Comedy Short" and "Best Horror Film."

    Not sure if this particular piece is a stand alone episode as it says episode 2. However, based on what I saw as well as the opening text stating Tales from the Lab, I have to assume this is something akin to Tales from the Crypt, with every episode being it's own isolated story.     There's a lot to like about God's Acre. The mystery at the heart of the story (where are they? who are the three people interviewing the father?) is compelling even if you see it coming from a mile away.     The Mafia Type is by no stretch a bad movie. The action sequence that kicks off the festivities is pretty exciting and fun. As the story starts to veer in cliche' territory that changes at the halfway point when the narrative from what we thought we were seeing switches to actually what we are seeing.
