A review of Teatime of the Apocalypse (3rd Draft)by tromadz on 05/31/2009First let me say I’m a reviewer who only points out the bad things, so let’s hope this is a short review. Title cards necessary? The first ten pages are odd enough to make me want to continue. Always a good thing. The formatting is pretty spot on. There weren’t any glaring mistakes at all. It was easy to read which is good for a very visual script like this. The characters... read

A review of The Land of Smiles - Rev 1by tromadz on 05/14/2009The first ten pages are decent. I love how scummy Rex is. He seems to be quite the character. It takes a bit for Rex to finally get to Gik. Formatting is pretty good, nothing sticks out there. Are the supers really needed or are they there to show your cool use of titles? Hey thanks for the review. You read an old version of the script. I have since gotten rid of the child abuse and made it more light hearted.

I like your idea for the change of ending on the adoption.

you're right about people being a little uncomfortable about seeing a kid die at the end. Seems to be just one of those last taboos in a film.
If handled correctly I think Heng could be a pretty memorable character. I think you may have found a really good idea there.
As much as some people may not like it, I think in a way the best ending would be to see Heng get away with it. SEQUEL ha ha
good luck
