I really enjoyed seeing the additional narrative that was added it really gave the story more depth and feeling. It definitely gave Max more depth and sensibility. He had much more of a voice then he previously did. I also noticed that the beginning and opening paragraph is much more detailed and descriptive in terms of setting the mood and circumstance. Man I just love... read

Wow! That was wild. I really liked the imagery that you created in the room that Tom found himself in. It felt so dreamy and surreal. It is interesting how human perception is really all about the way one chooses to live and see things. I really loved the intensity that just exploded off the page when table came flying through the window and screaming was heard and his dad came through the front door. Hi,

Thanks for reviewing American Family. The mother left due to the stress in the home. She left on more than one occasion without any notice to the children. They'd just come home from school and she'd be gone or wake up in the morning and she'd be gone. Mostly, she went to Florida to stay with family or friends. It was her way of coping.

You are the first person to say that her leaving is abrupt. It felt that way to the kids too. I'm doing a rewrite that touches more on the relationship between the father and mother. It may explain it better. Thanks for your positive feedback. I appreciate it.
