A review of Dargonby YeahHi on 03/01/2011What a great horror piece with great descriptions and an interesting take on a social issue! Good line: as if it was lit to signify the beginning of some unnatural event I like the use of this word: orgiastic. Most people would have used orgasmic to lesser effect. Great visual: both letting the bead strands part over their bodies and rake over their faces. Good tension... read

A review of Red Left Handby YeahHi on 02/26/2011I love this character. His flights into imagination are poetic and funny. Your writing is very strong. Captain Blood is a great name for that drink. The beach sequence he imagines, and your telling of it is GORGEOUS. Also, this: “he squints and stares at it, watching to see if size 10 footprints suddenly appear crossing the sand toward the tide.” I wondered if the world... read

A review of Organic Matterby YeahHi on 02/25/2011Yeech! I’m never eating oatmeal again. This is a great premise for a character and I could see it expanded to a horror script. I think you write well and did a disgustingly effective job describing the bacteria. You might show more of his reaction to what he’s seeing. He seems really calm cooking the oatmeal and that disoriented me. He, at that point, should be reacting... read

Shauna, I passed your greeting on to Sabra. With trouble brewing at home, she's returned to Israel as a reservist and is back in the IDF. She sends her best.

It's been a very long time since we corresponded, and I hope all is well. Last I recall, your budding carer as a writer was budding nicely and I certainly hope that's constantly in the works.
I was recently approached about a writing opportunity that required multiple writers (published or not), and when it comes to selecting writers that I thought would fit the bill, your name was first in line. I would like the opportunity to give you some of the details, but I noticed your profile no longer links to your private email. Of course you're not obligated, but it sounds like a thrill and, with a little luck, payment (which I would expect to be fairly minimal) might be involved. So, if you're not too busy with your next masterpiece, I'd love to chit chat. Go to my profile's "contact me" button and drop me a quick line if you're interested, and I'll tell you all about it.
Tell your pops I said Hi! I miss chatting with him.
Cheers, Shauna, and I hope to hear from you soon.
Your old TS tailgater, Nick74.

You have 2 short stories being highlighted today. Congratulations - that's quite an accomplishment.
Cheers,
